As much as I like "big glass," this is a fact I prove to myself
over and over with spectacularly detailed 6x9 cm trannies shot
with my 20-plus-year-old 47/8 and 65/8 Schneider Super Angulon
lenses. On the front of a Crown or Century Graphic camera, they
look dimunitive, puny, almost toy-like. But, boy, what they can
do! At f/8, they're great. At f/11 or 16, fuggedaboudit!
