OL/OM doesn't always help. Some OL will foul the pin on the OM3/4.
Hold the mount with the red spot at 12 noon, looking at the OM bayonet. You
want a mount with a screw at 4 o'clock, *not* at 3 o'clock. Or you need to
fill the 3 o'clock screw head with araldite, plastic padding or some such.

Subject: [OM] Tamron SP 80-200 2.8 LD - fanged one!
WooHoo!
Was having a look at a (smaller!) lens in a shop in Southampton (UK) on
Thursday when a guy comes in with a bag of N*k*n stuff to try to sell. All
autofocus stuff except this one - the shop's not interested in buying any
for cash but suggests their other branch... I accost the guy outside,
explain my interest in the 80-200 2.8 and he suggests 20 quid (U$D 30). So
I considered for a nanosecond...
It's well used (cosmetically challenged), slightly creepy zoom but perfect
glass and snappy shutter. Yes - I declare it a Fang!!!
So after the excitement, now I need an OM adaptall mount so I can use it!
Someone on the list just grabbed a couple I seem to remember - wanna sell me
one? (And mail it to Belgium - can send U$D cash or check...) KEH seems to
want about $15?
Or maybe just give me advice - is the secret to look for the 'OL' marked
one?
And a tripod mount - someone had an alternative to the (missing) original?
Thanks in advance for your help - and I hope you're just a little bit
jealous! best regds Jez
