I was considering enjoying the Zuiko authority that comes through the
35MM slide using an light box technique and am considering getting a
smaller thinner version over the larger (14X18) model I now use. (very
good though)
But then I did a smart thing (lol) by standing the light box up against
back wall on the viewing desk and bringing the eye loupe/slide to my now
relaxed not bent over the table position.
This gives me more control of the life of the slide, not sliding it
against the light box top. (come on don't laugh) and putting it back for
another now in fount of me with new found space to protect the slides.
*** So what's your method to light box use and bending over the table
method? Or bringing the loupe/slide to eye with the light box a foot
away?
So now I wonder how often I would need the trick thin light boxes out
there (cabin) that aren't cheap?
I got a wonderful Rodenstock 4X eye loupe off of evilbay for 70.
Gives a full 35mm view, excellent eye relief, don't find myself using
the translucent skirt, like it down keeping out stray light.
I wish Olympus made an eye loupe so I could just have one for my
zuikoholic urge.
