I guess I've just been lucky. In more than 40 years of 35mm
photography, I've never had that happen.

I have, though, had the occasional medium format film screw up,
like a Horseman 6x9 back that occasionally, for no apparent
reason, will overlap a couple of frames. And I've certainly had a
few profanity provoking instances of removing a film back while
the dark slide is in my shirt pocket. :-(
