Okay, I can't wait any longer. I kept thinking there would be a
question, followed by a profoundly elucidating explanation, or at
least a response that gave some sort of clue, sooner or later.
But n-o-o-o-o-o!
I've been around a long time, and maybe my brain isn't working as
well as it might, but I'm still trying to figure this out: Just
exactly what the hell is "the dreaderd wind-on blight"? I've
never had, nor ever even heard of, such a thing. Is it something
that happens only in France, like surrendering? Have I missed
something? What can I do to avoid this apparently terrible malady?
And, anyway, since it appears to be something really dreadful, I
offer my condolences.
