Sounds like fun Rich! We have a set of Yaks at my local airfield. It belongs to a chap called Mark Jefferies who is a bit of an aerobatic champion in the UK (not sure about internationally). The airfield belongs to him and his family and, although he seems to be a wealthy farmer, I believe that the made some of his money by buying and selling Yaks in this country (he had to fly them back from the FSU). Your experience at Boeing Field will probably not be echoed at the Flying Legends show at Duxford in July. I am not sure how many veterans remain in the UK, and how many might make it to the show (Gary Edwards will be across for that). We can live in hope though. I get goosebumps around those older vets. The stories, the HISTORY they carry around with them!<|_:-)_|> C M I Barker Cambridgeshire, Great Britain. +44 (0)7092 251126 mailto:ftog@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.threeshoes.co.uk http://homepage.mac.com/zuiko ... a nascent photo library. |
