[OM] [OT] Special project for electrical engineer types...

I need some help with an idea that will take some electrical expertise
beyond my limited experience.  I might be able to fudge my way through
it, but there's nothing like a knowledgable hand!  Nothing big, but it
might make some OM-er's happy.
