I try to combine the question and answer:
Hi Jez,
The weight of the 10D body is 790g with a standard lens its weight is close
to E-10, the surface texture and feel is also very close, it is made of
magnesium, feel the same rigid as the E-10. The control are very different
but quite easy to learn. With a 50/3.5 the viewfinder is obviously brighter
than the E-10.
One very nice point about the Canon is its battery can provide 600 shoots,
with Zuiko (no AF) I think it can even shoot more before recharge.
Titoy,
The 10D has 1.6x mag, only 1Ds provide 35mm full frame but the price is more
than four times higher.
