The camera meter also won't work - AT ALL. No manual metering. This is
true even with the older versions of Nikk*r lenses
I think it was Walt who raised the possibility of using the Tamron
adaptall lenses many of us have with the Sigma digital bodies. I did
some research and found that the Sigma is based on the N80
The problem is the N80 (S2, D100) has no way to meter continuous
lighting from a manual focus AI or AIS lens, since those lenses have no
electronic way to relay an f/stop setting value to the metering system.
Let me make this clear: There is NO camera based metering of any kind on
the S2 and D100 with the older lenses, not even stop down. This would,
of course, also apply to any Zuiko to Nik*n adapter.
The N90,N8008,F5,D1 series all have the spring-loaded Aperture Coupling
Tab on the body, and that connects to the Aperture Coupling Ridge on the
back of AI,AiS,and AI-converted lenses, making them capable of old or new
lens use. Thus they might do manual metering with an adapter, but I
don't know for sure.

I have a few good and a couple of great Zuiko lenses. For my birthday, a
friend gave me a Nikon D-100. (yes, good friend) Is there an adapter that
allows the use of my Zuiko lenses on the Nikon. I know the auto-focus won't
work. etc. Any suggestions?
