Canon announced on February 27th that they have a new model, "i9100" that
will print borderless prints, from 4X6 to 13X19 and standard sizes
inbetween. It hasn't hit the US shores yet-should be mid-May.
3,072 nozzeles
4800X1200 dpi resolution
74 million droplets ber second--fast!
Multiple paper sizes and grades,
6 separate ink cartridges-I think it's dye ink,
All this for under $500!
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!! It slices- it dices!!! Opps, went off the deep end
there for a moment.
Actually, that's the gist of it.
If you'd like to check it out,

Actually, there is more.
They also announced a new scanner model, the 9900F, a flat bed scanner that
will scan 24 frames of 35mm in one pass or 8 mounted slides (or a 120 roll
of 4X5 film for you medium format guys/gals).
Other than their announcement-I haven't seen either or used either or seen
any prints from either. And I have no connection....
However, I will be at a store when they get their stock in to check them
out.
