The professional repairmen on the list have said that using a Q-tip inside the
mirror box is not a good idea and that blowing
compressed air in there is a very bad idea. I hope you weren't suggesting
blowing into the camera with your lips which would be
worse yet.

PS, ask yourself what you hope to accomplish by blowing compressed air into the
mirror box. Do you want to apply a load to the
mirror? Do you want to blow cotton fibres into the mirror hinge? Are you
trying to drive dust into the shutter curtains? Do you
want to make the adhesive come loose from the curtains? What?
