Hi;
If the QR plate is all there, the long screw isn't a problem. Wind the screw
into the camera base until it gets a good grip but doesn't perforate the
mounting point, then tighten the separate locking knurled nut that is also
fitted on the underside of the QR plate. If the camera is still prone to rotate
after this, the QR plate needs grippy cork - or something else in addition.
