John, I posted that I had bought a 135mm macro hood on which the rubber had
been badly superglued to the anodised aluminium base. Took ages to get apart
and clean with acetone . Rubber is now "loose" on collar. Did NOT want to
use superglue to re-attach. Best suggestion - from Moose ..brown latex based
