to decide if it was worth the money to grab a 1.2 or a 1.4 for that kind
of low-light stuff.
After I had played some time with my Digi 2000Z (which I still like very
much for what it is), I was so motivated to go back to film, at the time
equipped only with a 1.8/50, 3.5/28 and 4/200. The 1.2/55 was the first
lens I bought then and I must say it most definetely kindled the growing
OM fire and starting zuikoholism. It's a wonderful lens in my opinion,
and, as others already said, it's slightly different length to the 50
makes already a big difference, apart from the atmosphere of intimate
softness it gives when used wide open, indoor, for portraits and such.
My opinion: give it a try!
