An uncle had a top of the line stereo -- out of sight back inside the
shuttered shelves in the laundry room.
ROTFL :)
Soryy for cynism - but where is then the point for owning a good
stereo when you have to go to laundry to listen it? :)))
I always have camera with me - be it a LIKE, Oly SP or OM1,
Rolleicord, Flex MX, Flexaret, Linhof... And I carry them
everywhere I go - in strange, dark places, under bridges
at midnight.. Camera is a tool - and what is a point of owning
a good camera when you fear to have it with you? Then buy
a disposable one, and better - insure it. Twice at least.
Use big, fat steel rope to tie it to you. Always keep in
steel case and take out only when you make photo. Or better -
do photos only in very safe places. With enough pressure from us,
photographers, city majors may build 'safe stands' for photographers
with armed guard and minefield around. And maybe even special
T-shirts with big white lettering: "I am a photographer. help me."
or something like this? :))))
Damn, I lost two cameras - both in a effect of my stupid self
wanting to photograph a street gang. After destroying my second
camera, they got used to me :) But _my_ cameras are tools
and they have to work for me and die for me if it will be
that way. Woe is mine but pictures are more important ;)
As for serial number engraving/etc: why? Put sticker inside
top body cover: This is a property of Blahblah Blah. If it
was given for repair by someone else, please call the police.
