I don't know anything about newer Nik*n bodies, but it would be a good
match with the old FG I still have hanging around (Why, I ask myself).
It's really an Olyish body, small, metal, etc. But I find the 'backward'
lens mount direction and focus distracting. Between that and the
different control location/operation, I wouldn't want to use it for
something as interactive as concert photography, too many ways to mess
up through unfamiliarity.
Fortunately, I have 80-200/2.8 Tamron and Tokina zooms to keep me from
temptation. (No, I haven't figured out which fast zoom I like better.)

Holy cow! 180/2.8 for $199? The N80 meters with AI lenses, right? (Not
matrix though-not a big deal.) And I could ebay my 90 Series1 macro and buy
one for the same money in a AI, right? Oh. Oh no. No, no. No. Must be
strong.
