I don't think that's true.  The height of the body changed.  The
OM-1/OM-2/OM-1n/OM-2n are interchangeable.

The OM-2S/OM-4/OM-4T(i)/OM-3/OM-3Ti are interchangeable.

I just confirmed by trying to put my OM-1 back on my OM-4T and it does NOT
fit.
