A friend just returned from PMA. Both Kodak and fuji anounced that they
would produce no more reversal paper after October. I believe this just
confirms kodak's previous announcement, but moves Fuji's quite a bit closer.
Of course, paper will remain in stock for a bit, and someone (Trebla?) will
continue to produce chemistry as the demand continues, but it is obvious
that there will soon be two options, scanning, and ciba.
On the other hand, Konica showed some interesting digital lab equipment.
