These things are not unique to only a few manufacturers. I had a friend
whose Chrysler New Yorker burst into flames while she was under the
hair dryer at her salon, and Ford Mustangs were recalled a few years
ago for engine fires. This without getting into the ones that burst
into flames after impact like Ford Pintos and Chevie trucks.
