thou feeler won't fit (that's about 0.1mm). Looking on the bright side,
isn't it amazing the tolerances that Olympus used when they moulded the
flash gun?

Very thin steel sheet - like feeler gauge (correct term? those leaves to
check valve clearances in cars). Should work OK - just try.
