I'm confused. Do you mean the physical length, like in a one-touch
push-pull lens. Then, I hate to disagree with you Winsor, but the answer is
NO. The lens zooms internally.
I just pulled mine off the shelf and tried it.

I am surprised. I thought internal focus and zoom were a product of
auto focus development. I stand corrected.
