A friend of mine recently bought a C*n*n 2400 dpi scanner (I can't remember the
exact model number). It includes a holder for 35mm film and slides.
Being the sceptic and luddite that I am, I wasn't expecting much from a scan of
one of my slides. However, I was extremely impressed. I haven't got a website
at the moment so I can't show the result.
I think it would do 6x6 just fine, but I don't know if they do a holder for
that size.
(OM content the slide was taken with my 2n and 100mm 2.8).

more generally, what are those of you who shoot medium format using for

I may be in the market for a new flatbed (we lament the passing of the
cheapo original, sob sob), and would be willing to pay a little more for one
which would also do a decent job of scanning my 6 x 6 trannies / negs."
