Interesting point. I find myself gravitating to both ends of the scale. In
color, I rarely use the 400 speed, and never, never the 200. If 100 won't
do, it's on to 800 or 1600. Just got some Konica Impressa 50, to check out
it's special qualities.
In B&W, it's either dip into my stock of APX25, which I hoard like Scrooge,
or Plus X, or on to Fuji 1600 or Ilford 3200, although I plan to try a
return to tri x this summer, just for the experience. Never have gotten a
taste for Ilford 50.
Oh, and I forgot to mention Scala when I was speaking to the favorite chrome
question. It's quite remarkable, with a creamy tonality unlike any other.
