Iwert:
glad to hear that the boys are safely at home - this is where the fun
*really* begins! ;)
as for the hot shoe cap, i have only seen one in my life, and it rests atop
my chrome -1n. its very true that us architects can get hung up on the
details. in fact, i wish there were a way to get the hotshoe off the -4
and -3 bodies!
as for the shift lenses and TC: i had tried this previously, but was
ultimately not happy with the loss of 2 stops, or the muddy image quality.
it takes very little shift to correct a shot with 70mm, so i decided to use
the 85/2 instead because the concverging lines aren't as distracting.
however, it *would* be nice to have a 50mm shift lens. C*non has a 24 and
45 shift which seems like a nice pair, although it would take a lot to get
me to pick up an EOS body. i also hear that the quality of the 24 TS isn't
up to that of the Zuiko. although it does take filters on the front of the
lens. :(
i hope all is well, and be sure to keep us updated with OM photos of the
boys!
