The trick is to drive with a very light foot and KEEP GOING! If you
punch it, you'll spin the tires and either dig a hole or spin out. If you
stop, you're stuck. A manual tranny gives better control, but the
same principles apply with automatics.
Says Chris, the guy who jacknifed his Astro and 18 foot trailer in the
middle of an icy hill out in the middle of nowhere back in October.
