I often wonder why people lie about their fuel mileage. The best minds
of Ford and General Motors created the tests adopted by the government
to show off their best highway mileage, artificial as it is. Yet
ordinary people regularly claim to exceed the mileage on the sticker of
the car they buy under real world conditions. Better than automotive
engineers, I guess.
On second thought it is usually the owner of an SUV or 2 ton luxury car that makes the claim. Guess the truth is just embarrassing. < This message was delivered via the Olympus Mailing List > < For questions, mailto:owner-olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > < Web Page: http://Zuiko.sls.bc.ca/swright/olympuslist.html > |
