$70 is a good price for the graphire2, as is 170 for the intuos2. I have
tried both pens and can tell you the intuos2 pen is much more comfortable,
but have not used the graphire as extensively as to compare
resolution/performance. (the intuos is allegedly twice as precise as the
graphire, however, that the difference is noticeable or not remains to be
seen) now the tilt control si something else. If you want tilt control (the
angle of the pen relative to the tablet) get an intuos. This is only useful
(as is the higher pressure sensitivity) if you are planning to draw or edit
EXTENSIVELY in photoshop. Don´t know if the lifetime guarantee will cover
the pen, I'd send an email to wacom, because if it does, then it's a
definetly better deal than the graphire. Plus it just looks cooler. (except
maybe that new transparent graphire....)
