Cute and competent aren't mutually exclusive. My S110 is an excellent
image maker within the ususal P$S autofocus limitations.
Not that it much matters anymore, but APS film is a lot better than you
would axpect from most of the prints you see. I've made quite a lovely
8x10 from about 1/2 of an APS neg. a little grainy if you look for it,
but not obtrusive. I find it hard to believe that people believe
standard 4byX prints are a reproduction of what's on the film. More like
a thumbnail.

Takes surprisingly good pictures, even if APS.
The digital Elph is pretty good too. I have a friend with the S200(the
2 megapixel one) and it really is a nice solid little camera that
gives nice images. His statement was that because it slipped into his
shirt pocket he would carry it. So, in contrast to a larger more
capable camera he would always get an image because he carried it.
