Hi C.H.,
The article in Modern Photo was a summary of new SLR product releases made at
the 1985 PMA. The photo of new Oly stuff showed an OM PC, 50-250, 35-70
F3.5-4.5, 50 F2.0 M, and the 28-85F3.5-4.5. The brief description of the
28-85 revealed that it would feature continuous focus down to 1:4. It's a
shame Oly never made it. Pop Photo also illustrated the lens about the same
time.
