Digital relentlessly marches on: from the infamous luminous-landscape site:
Rumour: I've now heard this information from seperate [sic] reliable
sources on two continents, so I am confident that it is correct. Fuji is
discontinuing the manufacture of all of its film cameras. This includes the
Fuji 617 and Fuji GX680 III systems, and the rigid and folding 120 roll
film cameras such as the various models within the GA, GW and GSW series.
Apparently they intend on using their manufacturing capacity for the
Hasselblad H1 and XPan, and their various digital cameras. Look for a press
release to this effect from Fuji within the next few weeks.
