MosFET amplifiers, when properly designed are on a par sound
wise with valve sets, electronically, they leave valve amps in the
dust. My twin 500w RMS MosFET poweramp has been happily
going since I designed and build it back in, um, hm, could have
been about 1985. I only started getting into CD's bigtime after
my exwife disposed of my records :-(
And I'm ex RAAF (78-80), back where all the test gear for the F111's was
all valve, so I know that wonderful technology inside out.
