WARNING: not for people who still have all their fingers! :-)
Get a bit of 2" PVC pipe. Schedule 80 is thicker than low-pressure pipe, and
will be springier.
On a table saw, slice off about 1/4" section. File and sand off the burrs. Cut
a section out of the ring that is about the length of the DOF button. Slip the
ring over the lens mount before mounting the lens.
Rotate the ring so the DOF button is in the slit to focus, lift the ring and
plop it on top of the DOF button to stop down.
Bicycle trouser-cuff protectors made of springy steel also work well.
(I've done a lot of reversed-lens photography... :-)
