Don't know anything about it, good or bad. You can't go wrong with the
Tamron SP 60-300/3.8-5.4 in that same range. Sharp, good close focus and
then a macro mode that goes to 1:1.6. Check the size and weight; some of
the earlier long ratio zooms were monsters. For comparison, the Tamron
is 870 gr., 166mm long, 68mm dia, and takes 62mm filters.
