I love this image, split rock and cloud.
ABout 10 years ago I saw a 16x20 print of it at the Ansel Adams gallery in
Yosemite. It was not very impressive. A bit grainy and obviously 35mm, but
what really got me was there were several *large* dust spots on the print as
well as a 3/4 inch long hair lying across the rock. Obviously the person who
made the print was not very careful. Dismayingly, the print bore Galen's
signature. If it were my print, I would have thrown it away.
