What you see in the viewfinder will still be affected by light through
the viewfinder when in Auto mode. The camera will expose TTL without any
effect from the stray light through the viewfinder, but it may not fire
at the shutter speed show in the viewfinder.

That is good to know that automatic doesn't have this problem. I guess,
I could shoot in auto and use the exposure compensation dial.
