Of course, everyone's experiences and interests are different, so
we are all just giving you comments from our own experiences when
we travel :-). What I found in China is that there is so much
that is close by that I very seldom used my long lenses. Either
that or the landscape is so beautiful that I wanted to capture it
all with as wide a lens as possible.

We had 19 in our tour group and 4 were photographers, but the 4 of
us all did quite a bit of running to catch up. Fortunately there
were enough "shopping stops" that we always managed to find the
rest of teh group :-). I am not trying to discourage you or
anything, just trying to prepare your for what may happen.
