If you're smart, you consider them 1/250-sec-and-below cameras. I
typically load my leaf-shuttered cameras with 100-speed or lower film
for
outdoors or use ND filters. But you have to live with the limitations
of a
leaf-shuttered camera if you're going to use one. They're VERY
quiet, and
they synch flash all the way to their maximum speeds, which can be very
nice for fill-in-flash in the daytime.

Or 1/1200 sec on the Contax T3, but it has been radically redesigned
from a traditional one. Probably the physical size of the opening is a
major factor too.
