Anyone want to hazard a guess what's causing that mark in the top
center of this photo? That was shot using a Sigma 28mm F3.5 Macro lens
I picked up at auction last summer. I took it down to Point Reyes a
couple of weeks ago and everything I shot has that mark in the frame. I
can't see anything when I visually inspect the lens, but it's there in
every photo I used it to shoot and none that I didn't, so it's
undoubtedly the lens. I got the lens cheap, so it's not so much an
issue of the money lost as it is buying something described as
near-mint and ending up with this.
