On my monitor the badge just looks like a dark yellow, just like the badges
that I remember. The car is definitely red!

ps. I also used to drive a dark red roadster in the 60's; mine was a Morgan
+4 (still missed!).

Nice photo here of the 60's vintage Mustang cruising along Causeway Bay,
Hong Kong Island but there's a query about the AA badge on the engine
grill. It shows up as red. Regular AA badges are yellow but is this a
derivation on the theme of the east is red!
