If it's a clean example, I'd say "Yes." There are always those people on the
List who will counsel you to wait for the LN- example that comes around once in
a lifetime for $50.00 U.S., but frankly, I think life's just too short, and
there aren't many examples of this lens floating around used.
If it's to your satisfaction, go for it. It's a GREAT portrait lens, and a
nice general-purpose moderate tele. I love mine. Again. I just used it
extensively on a trip through Colorado and New Mexico, and it's yummy. ;-)
