Yup. 100%
The AF is not real fast, but I have heard a fair number of complaints about
slow AF on D60s and D100s too. If you want professional level AF in a DSLR
you best prepared to plunk down $5-8k per body.
Prefocus techniques work great and there is no lag with an E-10/20. In good
light the E-10/20 AF picks up focus very quickly off pavement which makes my
pre-focusing job all the much easier. Pre-focus at the release point on the
track and flip the lever to manual. Then I can fire away to my heart's
content.
