Chris: Car names are just like everything else where branding is more
important than the product itself. Remember the Ford Expire, errr Aspire,
and the Hyundai Effluent ,errr Affluent? Personally, I can't wait to get
my hands on an all-new Belchfire Roustbouquet 8 with stereophonic hubcaps
and power ashtrays!!

The Ford Aspire was the first, I believe, to have a command for a
name. It was just not a good one, the command or the car. Had it
been a success we would have, perhaps, the Ford Pillage for a sports
model, Rape already taken by Opel. :-)
