You might get it open, but there's not much hope for a simple fix, and
you'll likely bung up the cover plate over the switch when you try to
get it off (that's a clue!). The switch contacts in the Grip 1 seldom
"go bad" -- they don't handle that much current (as compared to the
Nicad Pack, which will burn traces easily), and they rub themselves
clean each time they're turned on/off.
