First, try lifting the selector knob and moving it slightly off the
"sequence" mark, first one way then the other -- it could be that the
switch is a tad off, or there may be a "bad spot" on the contact pad
inside. If that's not it, you may have to drop the lower half of the
winder and check the switch inside -- look for a loose wire to the sequence
switch, bent contacts, corrosion, whatever....
