I don't have an OM-4Ti, so I'm not sure, but my plain OM-4 won't fire a
non-dedicated flash (that is, when the flash-ready signal is not received
by the camera-- just like taping the flash-ready contact) on AUTO, whatever
the shutter speed.

Again, I don't know about the -4Ti, but the original OM-4 on MANUAL will
fire the flash at any shutter speed -- even a T-series flash!
Of course, for speeds higher than 1/60 you only get exposed by flash a
portion of the frame.
