Thanks for the plug Brian,
I have just got around to posting some of the images from Indy
http://home.iprimus.com.au/boldbolty/index.htm
The two images Brian is talking about are;
The first is taken with a Sigma 400mm f5.6 at 1/125 sec at f11 on Fuji
Superia 400 print film
http://home.iprimus.com.au/boldbolty/pages/Indy
%20Murphy.htm
And the second shot shows where I was taking the photos from
http://home.iprimus.com.au/boldbolty/pages/indy010.htm
As you can see, there is a fence and wall to the right (so it is very hard
to pan with the car because they come out so quickly from behind this blind
corner) and then to the left you have the palm trees (second most difficult
part is to take the shot before they disappear behind the palm foliage).
Cheers Adam
> Hi folks,
Bolty,
Those are *great* photos...wonderful job. I went down to Laguna in
Feb and shot the
Indy Cars during their sneak preview. You can check them out here if
interested:

These were shot handheld, also, either at 200 or 400 using the Zuiko
200 wih a 2X-A teleconvertor and my OM-1.
Cheers,
Stephen.
