I am using Netscape Communicator 4.74, and am really getting to hate
it, even though I used to really love it. The new web stuff with Java
really confuses it. I am considering updating to the newest 7.0, but it
is most definitely an AOL product, so I am probably try something else
at mozilla.com. I have always liked Netscape Communicator because it
integrated the web browser and mail, and handled newsgroups oh so
nicely. A warning if want to upgrade to Netscape 7.0, and want to use
OutLook Express for your mail. Sometimes Netscape 7.0 tries to make its
mail reader your default one. I just learned of this from reading my
LANGA LIST letter this morning. I can sebd you info on how to get around
this problem if you want. One thing I like about using Netscapes mail
reader is that it is not the target of/affected by vi*r*u*ses very
often. AND I can turn HTML off.
