Not to disappoint anybody, but scanner speeds are slooooow for negatives
with this scanner (unless you do a lousy 300dpi for a 35mm negative). It
would not be a dozen of seconds, rather 45 to 60 seconds on the positive
side. If you have well balanced shots, you can run auto mode, have supper
and return afterwards with about 12 negatives scanned. (if you are a GOOD
photographer with only good shots one next to the other, hehe)
On the other hand, the quality amazed me.
