that's the prob with so many wireless networks around the country; a recent
study showed 60% had no encryption (off by default). with a YAGI or directional
antenna, you could borrow bandwidth from nearly
anyone, and if the volume on the disk is shared, well, a lot more.
"chalkwalking", i believe our neighbors across the pond call it, and IIRC it
was ruled as theft a week or so back.
