I just relocated my long-missed carton of 5-years' worth of Modern
Photography. What a blast from the past. I was reminded why I preferred
this magazine above all others.
Usually every issue had at least one camera test, and up to as many as 8 or
so lens tests.
Not to mention at least two big adverts, sometimes over 2 pages, for OM
cameras, per issue.
It's quite remarkable how unfocussed / blurry the photos seem to be (as
reproduced) and how poor the contrast and colours are, in contrast with what
we are used to seeing now.
